Winterizing With By-Pass Kit:
1. Drain your hot water heater
2 .Drain your fresh water tank
3. Make sure your holding tanks are empty
4. By pass your water heater
5. Find the water pump and disconnect the inlet side of your water pump and connect a new piece of water hose and put it in your bottle of antifreeze.
6. Start opening the taps farthest away from the pump and work your way back, don’t forget the toilet and the outside shower (if equipped)
7. Turn off pump; depressurize water system by opening up a hot/cold water tap. Leave open. Go outside to the city water connection and remove screen. Gently push in the pin inside the city water connection and hold it in. There should be water coming out followed by antifreeze. Repeat if no antifreeze comes out.
8. Once you have finished take the line out of the antifreeze bottle and reconnect to the water tank.
9. Dump antifreeze down all the traps (Kitchen, bathroom and tub or shower pan) approximately a cup, just enough to clear the traps or any water.
Note: Remove battery, store inside and charge 2-3 times throughout the winter.
