The 2020 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604SW brings together smart design, premium construction and the comforts you want for longer camping trips. With its spacious floorplan, quality materials and impressive insulation package, this Rockwood is built to make every getaway more comfortable.
One of the biggest advantages of the Rockwood Ultra Lite is its six-sided aluminum cage construction. The aluminum-framed walls, roof and floor are vacuum laminated to create a strong, lightweight and well-insulated structure. Rockwood also uses a one-piece vacuum-laminated roof and walls, helping provide durability and protection from the elements.
The enclosed underbelly is radiant-foil insulated and includes electronically *controlled heated holding tanks, making the 2604SW better equipped for cooler-weather camping. A 35,000 BTU ducted furnace keeps the interior warm, while the 13,500 BTU air conditioner helps keep things comfortable during the summer.
Outside, you'll find a power awning with adjustable rain dump and LED light strip, tinted frameless windows, a rear observation camera prep, a 2" accessory hitch receiver with 300-lb capacity, outside griddle and spare tire carrier. The trailer also features an outside antifreeze station and LP hookup for added convenience.
The Dexter Torflex axles provide independent wheel suspension and self-damping action, while E-Z Lube hubs and Nev-R-Adjust brakes make maintenance and towing easier.
Inside, Rockwood combines comfort with practical construction. The cabinetry is glued and screwed, aluminum dinette framing saves weight while adding strength, and 5/8" tongue-and-groove plywood flooring is glued and screwed to the aluminum framing. Extra-large dinette storage drawers and full-extension metal drawer guides provide plenty of useful storage.
The 2604SW is also equipped with a MaxxAir ventilation fan and vent cover in the bathroom, tire pressure monitoring system, and a shower miser water-saving system.
