Big Valley Jamboree is fast approaching and we want you to be prepared!

Here’s a few things we learnt from attending several time ourselves…

Pack for all kinds of weather! It’s Alberta after all and as a four day festival, we are bound to encounter some varying temperatures. Make sure to bring warm clothes, especially for at night. Pack some cooler clothes in case we get some heat, and of course umbrellas and rain ponchos are always a great idea.

Chairs, flashlight, camera, cell phone and chargers.

Sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer… items such as these always come in handy!

A hat and sunglasses, even ear plugs if you plan on getting up close to the stages!

Definitely water bottles are a must as well as plenty of snacks and food for meals.

Cash, credit and debit cards.

Good shoes, you’ll be doing some walking and/or dancing!

Of course you’ll need your tickets and it would also be helpful to print yourself a map of the grounds as well as an itinerary of the shows.

A lightweight backpack to carry it all!

Many of you will have your campers and this year we will have a technician onsite if you happen to need one for any reason. Simply visit our booth or text “BVJ” to 780-440-4811 for help!

For more info be sure to check out the BVJ website and of course come say hello! We will also have our WinMe trailer onsite so you'll want to enter that and maybe pick up some other swag while you're at it. See you at the festival and let’s make this the #BestTripEver!
