RV Technician Week 2022

We’re celebrating RV Service Technician week this year from June 1st to June 7th and we hope that you’ll join us in commemorating the awesome work that comes out of our shops.

Over the course of the pandemic, the RV industry has seen incredible growth- growth that is both exciting and constantly evolving. While the industry continues to evolve, the dedication from our technicians is unwavering. Our licensed RV technicians are so impressive because they’re constantly updating their skills since your RV is designed with the latest and greatest in the industry.

Did you know that RV Service Technicians are experts in more than fourteen different trade areas? This means that one single technician can perform maintenance or diagnose and repair every single component in your RV or motorhome. The only element of motorhomes that technicians can’t work on is the engine.

The craftsmanship and extreme attention to detail is what makes our technicians so valuable and appreciated. They’ve familiarized themselves with hundreds of different brands and manufactures and in some cases, can diagnose issues without even seeing the trailer in person. That explains why they’re some of the hardest working people at ArrKann! Also, RV Technician is a recognized Red Seal trade all across Canada.

I love everything about being an RV technician, it offered me so much in my career. It has a variety of work; I wasn’t doing the same thing day in and day out. It provided me job stability and an income that allowed me to do the things I wanted to do outside of work. It is wonderful to work close to home so I can be at home each night with my family. I love the transferable skills that I learned as an RV technician. I'm able to work in my house or on my vehicle without having to pay for services if I choose to. When I stumbled upon the RV technician career, I didn’t even know it was a trade. Now I can’t imagine my life without it- it has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever had as part of my life.
